Peter Obi’s Supporters Make Demands From Jonathan After Closed-Door Meeting

Supporters of Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, under the umbrella of the Obidient Movement, have told former President Goodluck Jonathan to step down for their candidate ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The demand came after Obi and Jonathan met behind a closed-door in Abuja on Thursday, September 11, amid the move by the opposition leaders to come together and form a coalition against President Bola Tinubu in the next general election.
