Dress A Dream Project to Support Over 200 Students in Lagos

Lagos, Nigeria — The Dress A Dream Project, a Personal Community Development Service (CDS) initiative under the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), is set to provide quality school uniforms to over 200 underprivileged pupils in public primary schools across Ikeja LGA, Lagos State.

Founded by NYSC corps member Oghenekevwe Tabitha Afighi, the project addresses the impact of inadequate school uniforms on students’ confidence, attendance, and classroom participation.

The initiative, which commenced on March 1, 2026, will be executed on May 7, 2026, across selected schools including Anifowose Primary School, Agidingbi Primary School, St. Peter’s Primary School, and Adeniyi Jones Primary School.

Supported by Mayorkings Agency (Headline Sponsor) and JIC – Joe-Igburuke & Co (Chartered Accountants), the project aims to restore dignity and promote equal learning opportunities for every child.

“Every child deserves to feel confident in school,” the founder stated.

The project remains open to sponsorship and partnerships.
