Temisan said that the event also aims at recognised influential African leaders and entrepreneurs while fostering actionable strategies for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across Africa.

“The summit aims to transcend ceremony by positioning itself as a high-level forum for strategic dialogue and to mobilise the over 20 million Africans in the Diaspora to move beyond remittances toward direct investment and impact” he added.

Speaking during a press briefing, the Executive Director of Iconic International Holdings, Malaika Lobengula, highlighted that the summit will ignite conversations that would inform policy, empower youth and women-led enterprises, to reshape the African narrative.

Lobengula noted that the event would focus on two sessions; Morning Session (Summit) starting at 11:00 AM, which would feature a thought-provoking conference featuring global policymakers, industry titans, and development experts, and the Evening Session (Gala & Honors) which starts at 5:00 PM, featuring a prestigious black-tie dinner, where recognition awards are presented to 100 selected African icons for excellence in business, innovation, and community development.
